BACKGROUND

Dr. Syed Sunny-Uz-Zaman is a BMDC certified physician and public health researcher with a cross-disciplinary background in epidemiology, humanitarian health, and palliative care with nine years of expertise in humanitarian healthcare, clinical operations, and innovative palliative care integration. His career spans frontline crisis response in Rohingya refugee camps with United Nations, prison health reform ICRC, and academic medicine with top tier hospitals in Bangladesh. His work bridges policy development, developing capacity building modules, multidisciplinary team leadership, and context-driven solutions for vulnerable populations. He successfully designed and implemented scalable model for primary healthcare integration of palliative care, including digital patient ecosystems.

At Anvesion, he co-leads research initiatives while designing and delivering training programs that empower health workers in resource-limited settings.
